I bet you were contacted by a newbie lawyer (I.e. Scum-Sucking bottom-feeder dork who scored high enough in law school to be lucky enough to get picked up by Vanguard) who was just out trying to make a name for him/herself or add up how much of a "good job" he/her is doing to protect Vanguard by taking on websites. I'll even bet that he/her probably listed in his weekly report that this was some major financial blogging website that he threatened to shut down and got the Vanguard Trademark removed that was being used to unofficially promote the site. Take solace in the fact that whomever this bottom-feeding, slimy eel of a lawyer representing Vanguard is, that they will be out chasing ambulances in a year when Vanguard realizes he/she is useless and just padding their accomplishments You should have called their bluff.
