Thanks for the price break down, I’ve never really compared my homemade granola to store bought and this gives me a better idea on how much I save. Finding the simplest recipe for granola is a pain though, it took a bit of experimenting for me to figure out that the prime ingredients to granola are simply oats and sweetener. I’ve substituted maple syrup for the honey and it turned out great!

Love your recipe!! I’ve made it several times already and we all love it. We’ve eaten w/ milk, yogurt, all by itself, and in trail mix…THANK YOU!!!!

I was looking for a price breakdown on granola, and I came here from Google. But there’s an easier recipe if you google Lazy Granola. If you’re looking for a cheaper, easier alternative, you might try there. Thanks for this!

Wow! thanks for the great recipe and pictures to go along with it! I found your recipe by googling “make your own granola”….I am tired of paying way too much for cereal, I love cereal but not the expense. This is much better for a person anyway.
