100 Free Thank You Points from Citi

Today I received a letter from Citi informing me that I could receive 100 free “Thank You” points for simply browsing their online mall. There is no custom code, so I assume it’s open to anyone who has a “Thank You” account.

So, if you have a “Thank You” account, it’s worth a shot to see if you can receive 100 extra points (worth roughly $1). I know, it’s not much, but earning $1 for about 30 seconds of work isn’t bad!

To do so:

  • Log into your Thank You account
  • Once logged in, browse to their holiday shopping page
  • Click “shop now” – if you’re lucky, you will see a notice that you have received 100 extra points

That’s it. There is no purchase requirement, so you can close the page when finished. Obviously, Citi is hoping that you will stick around and buy lots of stuff, but their hopes were futile given my strong willpower. :-)

I’m curious to see if this works for anyone, especially if you did not receive the offer in the mail.
